Je afgeleide klopt niet helemaal. Als het goed moet je zoiets krijgen:

& f'(x) = \sqrt {x + 18} \cdot \frac{{2\sqrt {x + 18} }}
{{2\sqrt {x + 18} }} + \frac{x}
{{2\sqrt {x + 18} }} \cr
& f'(x) = \frac{{2\left( {x + 18} \right)}}
{{2\sqrt {x + 18} }} + \frac{x}
{{2\sqrt {x + 18} }} \cr
& f'(x) = \frac{{2x + 36 + x}}

& f'(x) = \frac{{3x + 36}}
