Piramides en de stelling van Pythagoras

Ik moet een verslag maken met wiskundige formules. Ik heb gekozen voor piramides. Heeft u een antwoord op de vraag:
Heeft de bouw van piramides ook betrekking tot de stelling van Pythagoras? en zo ja welke van de 3 soorten piramides?

Op onderstaande website kan je lezen:

A popular misconception is that the Egyptians knew of and used the Pythagorean theorem. While the mathematicians of the area did know how to form right angles by setting the two sides of a triangle to 3 and 4 and the long side to 5, they did not understand the theory behind this method. This theory was the sum of the square of the sides of a triangle equals the square of the long side of the triangle. The reason for this is that the historian Moritz Conter (1829-1920) falsely reporte d in 1882 that the Eqyptians knew of the theory and this belief has stuck with many up until the present day.

Kort gezegd komt het er op neer dat de Egyptenaren weliswaar 'rechte hoeken' konden maken met het drietal 3-4-5, maar kennelijk niet bekend waren met de stelling van Pythagoras. Dus ben je snel klaar...
