Pi en phi

Is er een verband tussen pi(p) en phi (F)? En zo ja, wat is dat verband?

Op onderstaande website staat er wel iets over:

The real issue isn't how accurately the priestly geometers could calculate and use pi and phi, but rather, how they could integrate the two into one cohesive unity. The greatest difficulty with this coupling is that of the "square peg in a round hole", or in geometer's terms, the classical problem of Quadrature, Squaring the Circle.

Erg eenvoudig is het allemaal niet... maar hopelijk kan je er toch iets mee.
